PRETTY GREEN AT LC:M

PRETTY GREEN AT LC:M

The Edition Hotel was the venue to showcase Pat Salter’s latest Pretty Green Black Label range, as part of London Collections:Men. Showing Autumn Winter 2015 the catwalk came alive to the music of the 60’s with the Beach boys and The Beatles, mixed with new sounds from Music Machine.

The Black Label collection, set for release late July 2015, entitled ‘The Tour’ uses a footprint of the past brought to life in the present. With the use of luxury fabrics and fine design details outerwear was the highlight on the catwalk tonight. The versatile range is inspired by the 60s fusion of Britain and America. Luxury staples compliment the headline outerwear pieces that Pretty Green is known for. The key stories this season span from British military undertones to MOD and merge with the Beach Boys influence of floral patterns and textured fabrics.

The front row consisted of Carl Barat, John Hurt, Nick Hurt and Zak Starky who are all fans of the brand. Guests drank Vermillionaires and Clearer Coladas cocktails whilst listening to a playlist as follows;

Julia Nunes :- God Only Knows
Girl Band:- De Bom Bom
Music Machine:- Taxman
Eugene McGuinness:- Godiva
Tame Impala:- Why Won’t They Talk To Me
The Beach Boys:- Tell Me Why
The Youth:- Come On
The Beatles:- Tomorrow Never Knows

Pat Salter, Design Director, said ‘Pretty Green is all about the music that has inspired generations through the decades. Being part of LC:M means we get the opportunity to showcase our brand not only through the clothes but the music too. It’s our 5th season with this prestigious menswear event and we always get great feedback by being part of it. More importantly our customers get to understand where our heads are at and what they’ve got to look forward to in the coming season.’
