Harbour City, the crown jewel of Hong Kong’s shopping scene, proudly unveils the dynamic spectacle of colour in the form of ‘Planet Walala @Harbour City’, gracing the cityscape until April 21, coinciding with the vibrant Hong Kong Arts Month.

Crafted by French artist, Camille Walala, this extraordinary showcase comprises two expansive public installations and a solo art exhibition, all pulsating with her signature Tribal-pop flair, infusing Hong Kong with vivacious hues.

Renowned for her whimsical public artworks spanning a myriad of mediums—from towering full-facade murals to immersive 3D installations and lively street art—Camille Walala is a maestro of joyous expression. Through her audacious use of bold colours and exuberant geometric patterns, her creations are beacons of unadulterated delight.

Camille Walala takes center stage with the creation of the inaugural Hong Kong City Sign, christened ‘Now You See It Now You Don’t’, gracing the Ocean Terminal Deck, offering one of the most breathtaking sea views in the city. This monumental installation, soaring 3 meters high and stretching 6.5 meters wide, stands as a gleaming testament to artistic ingenuity. Immersed in the mesmerising hues of Victoria Harbour’s waters, it seamlessly intertwines Camille’s vibrant geometric tapestry serving as a harmonious ode to the towering skyscrapers that define Hong Kong’s iconic skyline.

Ascending the stairs adjacent to the City Sign, visitors are transported into an enchanting realm—the inaugural outdoor artistic maze christened ‘A-MAZE’. Spanning over 3,500 square feet, this vibrant labyrinth invites visitors to embrace the sheer joy of colour and rediscover the playful spirit of exploration and discovery.

Meanwhile, Camille’s solo art exhibition, ‘Metropolis’, is will celebrate her larger-than-life public art installations as she unveils 12  new artworks, drawing inspiration from the architectural marvels of urban landscapes. Infusing her creations with the textures, intricacies, and distinctive silhouettes of cityscapes, she invites viewers on a journey through the heart of the metropolis.

In tandem with the art extravaganza, Harbour City curates a plethora of art activations, including Family Art Jamming sessions and an Insta360 Photography Classroom, catering to art enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
