HowTheLightGetsIn is the world’s largest music and philosophy festival – celebrating days of discussion and new discoveries with an incredible line-up of music, comedy and cabaret.
Joining the line-up this year, Anna Meredith makes her debut performance at HowTheLightGetsIn. Described by Pitchfork as “one of the most innovative voices in British music”, Anna Meredith is a genre-crossing composer and producer. Her Mercury Prize shortlisted LP FIBS was released to critical acclaim – named Electronic Sound’s Album of the Year, Pitchfork’s Best Experimental Album of 2019 and featured in the New York Times.
May will also play host to Grammy nominees Zero 7, Scottish indier-rockers Belle & Sebastian (DJ), swaggering glam-pop group The Last Dinner Party, idiosyncratic surf-poppers Melin Melyn, South London’s favourite disco band All Day Breakfast Café, Malady, JERUB, Club De Fromage, Rachel Sermanni, Tungz, Allysha Joy, Æ MAK, Seraphina Simone, TC & the Groove Family, and Mr Bruce, with even more to come.
