Forsen is an emerging design brand from Korea. 

Despite the fact that the company was formed only months ago, Forsen were quickly recognised as innovators in Korea and selected to show at the recent Fashion Scout events during September’s London Fashion Week.

The models paced along to a soundscape produced by MD and Sound Director, Ryan Hwang. The title of the show, FODSPOR, means footprints.

‘While exercising in the quiet dawn city, we can concentrate on ourselves enough to hear our own footsteps. The liveliness of dawn gives us the power to look back on ourselves more and to live more independently in a busy city,’ says Verbena Kim.

The work is minimal. Unlike a final degree show from students at CSM, the collection would fit into a single suitcase. 

‘The design of this collection shows a modern athleisure look that is static but lively at the same time, like the city of dawn, which has quiet vitality.’

Verbena Kim is an exciting new designer from Korea, with a quiet dignity and grace.

I’m excited to see what Forsen will produce next. Menswear?
