Trisara: A Slice of Heaven
Trisara, meaning ‘The Garden in the Third Heaven’ in Sanskrit, offers Phuket Island’s most luxurious resort experience. Nestled within tropical forests and exotic gardens, the resort features 64 spacious ocean-facing pool villas and private residences ranging from two to eight bedrooms. Each residence embraces a tranquil bay on Phuket’s sophisticated and serene north-western coastline, just 15 minutes from Phuket Airport.
Luxurious Ocean-Facing Villas
From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that Trisara is a sanctuary of privacy and tranquillity. After receiving the key to our one-bedroom villa, we were whisked away by buggy through immaculately manicured gardens to our home for the next three nights.
The one-bedroom villas are nothing short of spectacular, and much of their allure comes from the impressive 10-meter ocean-facing infinity pool. Spanning a total area of 240 square meters, the villa includes a 96-square-meter air-conditioned bedroom with bright, garden-facing bathrooms. Each villa has a private infinity pool, teak dining and sunning decks, and an outdoor private shower. These features ensure a true sense of privacy, complemented by stunning ocean views, just a short stroll from the hotel’s main facilities.
Unparalleled Luxury and Privacy
Whether you’re lounging by your private pool or exploring the lush grounds, the resort’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence is evident at every turn. Personalised service, whether you prefer hands-on or discreet, ensures your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible.
If you crave company during your stay, the resort’s fabulous 45m saltwater lap pool is calling. Stretching along the beachfront and surrounded by inviting daybeds and sun loungers, it’s the perfect spot to relax and socialise.
Gourmet Dining with a View
Once you’ve settled into the villa experience and are ready for a culinary adventure, Trisara offers an array of dining options and you’ll find several enticing choices near sea level.
Cielo: Regional Produce, Mediterranean Cooking
Just steps from the Andaman Sea, Cielo serves reimagined Mediterranean classics in an elegant oceanfront setting. The team of chefs craft bespoke dining experiences in close collaboration with local artisans and the region’s finest producers, employing alternative cooking techniques, including grilling in their signature wood-fired oven.
Cielo isn’t just for lunch and dinner; it’s also the ideal place to start your day. With outdoor dining that offers breathtaking views, you can sip freshly ground coffee while enjoying à la carte breakfast options. Indulging in delicious juices and smoothies from the self-serve bar makes it impossible not to lounge and savour a long, relaxing morning. And don’t get us started on their delicious noodle soup!
SaT: Seafood at Trisara – A Thai Homestyle Dining Experience
SaT embraces the heritage of Southern Thai ‘mama’ recipes passed down through generations that showcase a diverse culinary legacy celebrating the island’s phenomenal resources, both on land and sea.
The stir-fried Phuket lobster is the standout of our meal choices at SaT and we’re very happy to see the GranMonte winery of Khao Yai represented on the drink menu.
DALA: A Vibrant Bistro and Bar
Named after the Indigenous Torch Ginger flower of Phuket, DALA is a bistro and bar that showcases a delightful array of Thai flavours with crafted cocktails and coffees paired with pan-Asian bites. With breathtaking sunset views it’s the perfect pre-dinner spot.
PRU: Phuket’s First MICHELIN-Star Restaurant
PRU (Plant. Raise. Understand) is Phuket’s first and only restaurant to earn the prestigious 1 MICHELIN Star and the MICHELIN Green Star. A beacon of sustainability and community, the team at PRU offer a unique culinary experience that celebrates locally sourced ingredients. The open-kitchen concept allows diners to engage with the food and chefs, immersing all their senses—touch, hear, smell, and see—in the preparation process. This transparency makes for an unforgettable dining experience.
Jampa: Zero Waste Culinary Excellence
Just a twenty-minute ride away, you’ll find the remarkable MICHELIN Green Star awarded, Jampa, where Dutch Chef Rick Dingen’s ‘Zero Waste Cuisine’ concept is in full swing. Surrounded by farm animals and fresh produce, a tour with Chef Rick reveals how the daily changing menu is entirely nature-reliant. Ripe fruits and vegetables are picked, honey from stingless bees is harvested, and eggs are collected from the chickens.
“By necessity, we consider sustainability first and foremost in all our decisions at the restaurant. Our goal is to exert the absolute minimal impact on the earth, including breaking down our waste with zero carbon footprint and creating organic compost for our farm. By doing this, we create a closed loop where waste supports farm growth, which in turn provides ingredients for our menu,” says Chef Rick.
The restaurant, set within the farm, is a stylish, bright, and airy space that includes a bar, cafe and dining area. The food is served in beautifully designed, intricately delicate presentations, offering a feast for the eyes and the palate.
For those seeking an exclusive getaway that blends natural beauty with unparalleled luxury, Trisara is the ultimate destination. This cliff-top paradise in Phuket promises an unforgettable escape where privacy, comfort, and stunning surroundings converge to create a truly heavenly experience and where food-loving travellers will be delighted with the choice and innovation.
