This landmark collaboration was announced during Art Basel’s press conference in Basel, promising to bring unique thematic experiences and activations to Paris, Miami Beach, Hong Kong, and Basel over the next three years. The partnership aims to promote Hong Kong as an international hub for cultural exchange and to showcase its vibrant art scene and rich cultural heritage on a global stage.

HKTB will now be a Show Partner for all Art Basel events, starting with Art Basel Paris in October 2024. One notable project was the “Cha Chaan Teng” experience in March 2020, where visitors enjoyed local dishes like pineapple buns and milk tea in a vibrant café setting, reflecting Hong Kong’s unique East-meets-West heritage.

The three-year partnership kicks off with Art Basel Paris at the Grand Palais from October 18-20, 2024.
