Our Verdict: 2 complimentary shades that glide on perfectly and last well throughout the day giving cheeks a sun kissed glow – when it looks this good on the chicks we didn’t want to waste it on our limbs!
Kiehl’s – Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence – £36
They say: For radiant skin and a youthful glow Kiehl’s use Iris Florentina extract in this liquid concentrate. With anti-aging and hydrating ingredients, mixed with a divine scent, the treatment is for use both day and night as a cleanser and promises more radiant and hydrated skin in less than 2 weeks!
Our Verdict: We haven’t used it for 2 weeks yet but for the first few days it has left our skin feeling soft. The treatment spreads over the skin easily and absorbs fast without leaving a trace.

They say: Helps keep colour vibrant for up to 9 weeks, prevents thermal damage meaning less breakage and lots more shine. Contains Quinoa which is a great source of protein and high in amino acid content.
Our Verdict: Leaves hair feeling soft and manageable. The shampoo & conditioner are both rich and thick while the accompanying spray is light and great for heat protection. A daily treat for the hair.
Westlab – Himalayan Detoxifying Salt – £5,99 for 1kg

They say: Lip gloss juiced up with 8 hours of moisturizing shine. In 18 shades from sheer to full intensity.
Our Verdict: If a lipstick or gloss can last over an hour on my lips i’d say it can count as long lasting. Shimmery, pearlescent loveliness either on its own or over your favourite shade.
Clinique – Sculpting Highlight Chubby Stick – £19
They say: To highlight areas across the face.
Our Verdict: A pearlescent glow that makes light bounce straight off your cheeks. A must-have for the summer but be careful where you put it as it really shimmers!
Bobbi Brown – Naked Nail Polish – £11
They say: Bobbi’s long-lasting colour for perfectly polished fingers and toes. Resists chipping and boast high-coverage colour.
Our Verdict: A great neutral colour that goes with just about everything. Looks great after 2 coats.
Clinique – Beyond Perfecting Foundation – £25
They say: A foundation-and-concealer in one for a natural, beyond perfected look that lasts all day. Lightweight, moisturizing makeup covers thoroughly without clogging pores. Skin breathes comfortably, colour stays true, even through sweat and humidity.
Our Verdict: A denser coverage for more uneven skins that blends well, feels lightweight and gives a flawless finish.
Origins – GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer – £25
They say: Featuring both Caffeine derived from Coffee Beans and Panax Ginseng, this lightweight oil-free facial moisturiser jumpstarts skin’s hydration levels and creates a healthy, vibrant glow. Tired skin wakes up refreshed and revitalised.
Our Verdict: Smells beautiful, feels cooling and brightens up tired-looking skin – perfect for the Summer as it feels light and absorbs quick.
Illamasqua – Gel Colour – £27.50
They say: Charm is a gel based, sheer cheek tint that glides on smoothly and can be easily blended across cheekbones for an instant flush of colour to your complexion.
Our Verdict: The colour builds from subtle to as bright as you want to go. Don’t be scared of the colour initially as its sheerness eventually develops to a shade your are comfortable with.
New Cid – i-glow compact shimmer powder – £25
They say: These marbelised glow powders are the perfect ‘pick me up’ for the skin. Using our famous baked formulation for easy, silky smooth application, i – glow has light reflective pigments for mimicking your skins natural radiance.
Our Verdict: 10 out of 10 for shimmer tastic-ness! Ideal for sun-kissed cheeks.
